Connecting via Web Deploy to your web hosting is quick and easy.
Head to SolidCP
Click Hosting Space Menu on the left-hand side of the control panel.
Then click Web Sites
Find the website you would like to use Web Deploy with and click on the name.
Next click Web Publishing on the tabs found in the centre of the control panel, enter a password you would like to use, and then click Enable
Finally click Download Publishing Profile for this website
If you would like to view the settings, open the publishing profile in a program such as Notepad.
Our Web Deploy server hostnames are:
Windows EU1:
webdeploy.umbhost.net
Windows EU2:
webdeploy.eu2.umbhost.net
Please note that sometimes the import into Visual Studio will include an empty configuration, if this happens click on the More actions dropdown and then Delete when viewing the configuration with no options.
