Connecting via FTP to your web hosting is quick and easy.
Ensure you have an FTP client available. We'd recommend FileZilla.
UmbOne package instructions:
Head to SolidCP
Click Hosting Space Menu on the left-hand side of the control panel.
Then click FTP Accounts
Next click Create FTP Account on the right-hand side of the control panel, then fill out the form with your details as required and click Update.
In FileZilla enter the server name found below and the details created earlier, then select Quickconnect.
Depending on the server location your ftp hostname will be one of the following:
Windows EU Hosted Websites:
ftp.umbhost.net
Windows EU2 Hosted Websites:
ftp.eu2.umbhost.net
US Hosted Websites:
ftp.us.umbhost.net
UmbUnix or UmbMicro package instructions
Head to Plesk
Click FTP Access
Next click Add an FTP Account, then fill out the form with your details as required and click Ok.
In FileZilla enter the server name found below and the details created earlier, then select Quickconnect.
Depending on the server location your ftp hostname will be one of the following:
EU Hosted Websites:
ftp.eu1.umbhost.net
You should now be connected to your web hosting via FTP.
