Yes, you will need to notify us that you would like to use your own DNS provider, we will then guide you through the setup process to configure this.
The process is as follows:
- You raise a support ticket advising you would like to use your own non-Cloudflare DNS provider
- We will provide you with 4 x DNS verification TXT records
- Once added advise us so we can activate the zone
- We will provide 2 x A records and 1 x CNAME record
- Once added advise us so we can test they are configured correctly
PLEASE NOTE: Our 99.9% uptime SLA is ONLY valid on the www (or other subdomain) record, there is a small risk that the IP Addresses used for the root A record could change, as this is out of our control we cannot provide an SLA on the A records.
