What’s the MSSQL database size limit?

At UmbHost, each MSSQL database can store up to 5120 MB (5 GB) of data, and you can store up to 100MB of LOGS. As databases comprise of only text, this is a lot of space in real terms; to put it into perspective, at UmbHost customer’s average database size is just 20 MB.

In the rare event that you need more than 5120 MB, you can request an increase in size up to a maximum of 10240 MB (10 GB), there is a small increase in the monthly package cost for this.

If you require your database size to be increased, please contact us
